The Deputy Chief of Party, Technical provides technical expertise and
leadership for the design and implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention,
care, treatment, and suPPort programs.
Responsibilities include:
•Work in close coordination with the Deputy Director, Program
Management, and support the Country Director/GHAIN, and the relevant
staff of USAID/Nigeria;
•Provide leadership and supervision to the directors of Medical
Services, Monitoring & Evaluation, Laboratory, Health Policy and
Systems Management and Communication and Knowledge Management;
•Ensure that high quality and state-of-the-art HIV prevention, care and
treatment interventions are implemented in a timely manner and in
coordination and collaboration with GHAIN partners, other United States
Government partners and the GON;
•Participate in the GHAtN management team and represent the Chief of Party in his absence;
•Ensure technical training and staff development in the GHAIN Project in relevant areas;
•Represent the GHAIN Project and FHI at local and international meetings;
•Perform other duties assigned by the Chief of Party

BS/BA in public health or related field, and 11-13 years
relevant experience in intemational development programs with 5-7 years
supervisory experience; or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field,
and 9-11 years relevant experience in intemational development
programs, with 5-7 years supervisory experience; or PhD, MD or
equivalent degree with 7-9 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS or
Family Planning with intemational development programs and 5-7 years of

The Director, Program Management provides management oversight
for program, technical and financial divisions at the Nigeria country
office.
Responsibilities include:
•Plan and manage the assigned project(s) in Nigeria;
•Manage the country office and sub-offices (if applicable);
•Ensure the achievement of results for which FHI is responsible under agreement with donors;
•Ensure that project resources are utllized in accordance with applicable FHI and donor policies and procedures
•Ensure appropriate monitoring of subprojects to achieve financial, administrative, and programmatic goals;
•Oversee production of timely and accurate financial and programmatic reports to FHI and donors as required;
•Ensure program quality according to FHi standards;

and management of HIV1AIDS (and related public health areas)
prevention, care, treatment, and support in the GHAIN project and
